Often times we wish for something and are not happy until we get it. God knows what is best for us, but we stubbornly cling to our own ideas. The other day I received a message in my in box that demonstrates this better than I could.
It's a story of an elderly retired couple who were celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary. A good fairy dropped in on that special day to grant them each a wish. It is not every day someone celebrates 40 years of marriage and she wanted to reward them.
The wife wished for a trip around the world with her husband. Before she could count to ten she had airline/cruise tickets in her hands. Now it was the husband's turn. He wished for a female companion 30 years younger than him to take on the cruise. Just as quickly the fairy granted him his wish. He was now in his 90s.
If we think God is our fairy godmother, perhaps we are not realizing what God has for us. Our Heavenly Father cares very deeply about us and is interested in every aspect of our lives. When we feel like failures, we need to see how much our Father loves us. It is in our weakest moments we can find His strength:
I am Weak but He is Strong

Now, if only it was that simple, right? But before we write, we read. If you are a voracious reader the internet has a marvelous library for you. I love to research and write. I want to learn daily and I love to share the things I learn. At http://www.Triond.com I have found some of the most talented, caring and intelligent people you would ever want to meet and we are all doing basically what we love the most; reading and writing. A group of us have founded our own blog called http://writerssolutions.blogspot.com/
Because we are veteran writers at Triond and have written on a large number of topics we offer information on a variety of subjects. There is no charge for any information offered, and in fact, if you've a problem, ask, we may have the solution. Come have a look. As I stated before, there is no charge. You have nothing to lose and considerable to gain.
One of my fellow writers, who has become a good friend to me suggested I sign up for:
FreeWebSubmission.com FreeWebSubmission.com Quiet Voice (her pen name) advises that this site will assist in getting a writer's name out there. No one I know of wants to write to an audience of one. Writers check the link out. Maybe we will get to read each others content.
Take care and G♥d bless!

As a young mother, even before I gave birth to my first born, I read everything I could lay my hands on regarding childcare. It was then that my fascination began for home remedies. For the most part they are so much safer, more cost effective and healthier. As a loving parent I wanted the best for my children, and that meant also taking care of my own health. I fell in love with "Let's Eat Right to Keep Fit" by Adelle Davis. My book is dog eared and falling apart, but there is still lots of use left in it. This book has been by my side for over 30 years. Then I came across Linda Clark's "Get Well Naturally", and now my constant companion is "The Green Pharmacy" by James A. Duke, PhD.D. I was astounded by the many uses of ginger root (over 31 and counting) listed in his book, and just for fun added a recipe for brewing your own ginger ale.
Dr. Duke states
“The reason herbs are not more popular in the United States is that the drug companies can't patent them. The drug companies make their money by pulling the medicinally active molecules out of herbs and then tinkering with them a little until they're chemically unique. The companies can then patent their new molecules, give them brand names and sell them back to us for a lot more money than their original herbal sources cost.”
I love to share the wonderful findings when I unearth them and you can read more at:
