Thankful Thursday - Babies
How can you not love a baby?
Once I had a baby I was hooked. The sweet smell of Baby Magic and the silky soft skin, the innocent smile, bright and inquisitive eyes, and the total dependence. Yes, I was hooked.
I had four children and now have 23 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Now that I no longer have babies at home, I have ones I gratefully borrow on my week ends. We explore stores, take nature walks, color, read, cuddle, laugh and talk.
I have a question to ask you; is this baby real?
I wander the web from time to time and happened upon this blog one day. I borrowed only one photo. There are many there and each is so precious. This is NOT a real baby. She makes the most exquisite dolls. Each one is hand made and such a work of art. I found myself falling in love all over again. I've placed Rhonda's link in the word blog above but will give it to you again. I would hate for you to miss out on a chance to see these beautiful babies. http://www.cuddleondelivery.com
I emailed her and got permission to post about her blog. She is so humble and sweet, just like the babies she creates. She realizes that there are adults who get a lot of joy from beholding the natural beauty of a newborn. Here is a portion of her response:
"I am simply a lady, who deeply cares about everyone, and is trying to make the world a bit better by giving to someone a bit of joy, by doing what I know how to do.
Thanks again Judy,"
And I say, thanks Rhonda. When people like you share their God given talent with the world it becomes an even more wonderful place to exist in.

Thanks for the link, Judy! I love the smell of babies too..
I've seen these 'babies' before. They look so real. We once had one in our youth centre to teach the girls baby sitting.
Cher, Icy, and Anne, thank you for your visit. I think it is amazing that Rhonda has this talent and shares it. Her work is absolutely amazing!
Take care & God bless!
I agree that the baby looks great. The baby looks real. I will have to check out her blog too because she did a terrific job.
CA, the babies look so good I think they could actually fool someone.
Thanks for visiting. Take care & God bless.
That is amazing, it looks so real. The way the hand is posed is so life like. I will check out her blog. Thanks for the link Judy.
Judy, thanks for the visit. You will not be disappointed. Her dolls are so lifelike that you expect them to move.
Take care & god bless.
This baby looks so REAL but it's not a real baby. I guess this will bring joy for those who don't have a baby or for a lonely couple a who can't stand for loneliness.
Chan, these babies do help some of the elderly cope with the loneliness bringing to mind earlier days.
