Chasing sunsets
If you take a ride with me around sunset, I'm warning you, you will be held hostage as I chase sunsets. Most days I get out of work at 6 pm or later and the sky is black so I am only able to chase sunsets on the week ends and chase them I do. :-)
Last night it was my friend Bev that rode around with me as we tried to get a picture of the sunset unobstructed.
It is difficult, when in town. Tonight it was my grand daughter Te`Love. She snapped the first one of the series. She even volunteered. :-)
We kept driving west hoping to get a clear picture of the sunset but the horizon was dotted with trees, telephone poles, and buildings every where we went. We finally decided to go ahead and head back to Walmarts so I could make a payment on my Sam's card. While in the parking lot there I saw that I had missed the sunset again but was in awe of the black streaks in the sky as if someone was creating a charcoal drawing. Isn't He a wonderful artist? There is no end to the beauty He creates.

The sky is constantly changing..I had my fair share with chasing the sun set two nights ago with my son..
Train him right, Icy, soon we will be leaving comments on his blog. lol
These are nice shots, Judy. It usually gets dark like that here around 5 now that it is getting closer to spring.
I like to see sunset and rainbow as well. Beautiful shot, sister! :-)
