Mouse Confections

When my friend at work brought me this little guy, I was in awe. He is so cute. He told me he made a batch of them to save his Christmas cake from disgrace. It seems while removing one of the layers of cake from the pan it broke. His plan was to decorate his broken cake with these little creatures and say they created the mess. :-)

Recipe for a Chocolate Mouse

If you want some chocolate mice, assemble maraschino cherries (with stems), chocolate kisses,
chocolate, almond slivers and cake frosting gel. I bet you have already figured out how to assemble your mice. After dipping the maraschino cherry in melted chocolate quickly put his little body together so he will not fall apart. Chocolate has natural antioxidants so one or two can't hurt. Right?

It's COOL. I'd rather keep it than bite on it. Thanks, sister!

Chan, me too. I don't like maraschino cherries. I can't say that about chocolate, however. :-)

Thanks for the visit & God bless!

Isn't he cute? My husband and I went to my daughter's for dinner and came back and he had disappeared. Do you think the cats got him?
