Weathered and Worn

I think we have all felt a little more or less “weathered and worn” since the day we were born, :-) so when I saw this meme mentioned by Judy on Squirrel Queen my imagination got carried away. Thankfully, I won’t go there….

An Interesting Detour …

The Sunday before last we had a parade and the road was blocked that I usually take home from church. I tried one of the first side streets and less than a mile down it, it too was blocked, but I was drawn to this quaint looking structure. Had there not been a road block, I would not have stopped, and probably never even noticed this building.

I parked along side the road and walked as close as I dare. It looked like there were some poison ivy and sumac plants and heaven knows what else growing there, but I took some interesting photos and am still curious to know what this building was built for. Any ideas?

Mumsy, I wonder how many times I've passed it without noticing...

Thanks for the visit. Have a blessed day.

Well first I have to tell you there is an ad on your sidebar for Roundup Poison Ivy killer, perfect for that place.

It is an interesting place, you do have good eyes to catch it. For the moss on the roof and all the vines I would say it has been vacant for quite awhile. It would be interesting to know its history.

I got so caught up in your photos I forgot to say thank you for the mention.

The meme is called the Brenda Photo Challenge, you should join us. It is usually once or twice a month. You can follow the link on my blog to get more info.

What great shots! From what I can see, it looks like a greenhouse or somerhing.

CA, isn't it cool? I wonder...

Thanks for the visit & God bless!
