Needless Struggles

Sometimes life sends struggles to wrestle with your soul
Things that become stressful and spiral out of control
Your back becomes bent from the load you have to bare
You look around for help and no one seems to care
Or if they care a little, there’s nothing they can do
The burden must be carried and it was left for you
So you lift your voice in anguish; cry upon the Lord
You turn your eyes to Jesus as you look heavenward

His voice responds back sweetly like the cooing of a dove
Never doubt my mercy. Never doubt my love!
Remember in the garden, when I knelt in prayer alone
Right after that, my child, I took your burden as my own
You’ve wrestled with sin’s burden, but I buried it long ago
Turn your eyes towards me and I’ll show you where to go

Judy Sheldon-Walker

Never, No one, Nothing..
Nothing but
Negative words
The same God that cares for the flowers
And feeds the beasts and birds
Is the aNswer for the
N word.

Please enjoy the rest of your week. Be blessed. Enjoy  ABC Wednesday with us!

I believe Jesus will always there to help lift my burden up no matter what. All I need to do is just pray :)
Happy Wednesday

you are right, so often we worry too much. If we trust in God, our burdens will be lighter.

rather like my intro this week, in content, tho yours is more elegant in style. the lilies of the field reference is apt.

Good words of hope greatly Needed in our world today. We struggle with heavy burdens, but Jesus' burden is easy and light.

Your poem was really beautiful. As long as we have faith in Jesus, everything will work out for us.
