Sunset Lifts the Weariness

The day ends and the bones are weary
The day is long, the heart is dreary
But then from neath the clouds is found
A shining sun and beauty 'round

Funny how the dreariness
And also all the weariness
Melts away with with just the sight
Of a setting sun on a lonely night

This post linked to Watery Wednesday. It's time to get our eyes wet. Enjoy and God bless!

I love both your poem and photos Judy, defintely a delight to the eye.

And that is so true, no matter how weary we might be a sunset has the power to renew us.

Nice poem and the shots are beautiful! There is just something magical about sun and lights reflecting on the water.
