Microfiction Challenge

The chair looked so inviting. She was tired, bone tired, tired of having to cater to everyone's needs. Oh to sit for a moment, but no.~ 135 ~

This post linked to Succinctly Yours! Join in the microfiction challenge. Post your story of 140 words or less. Use the Design 215 counter if you like.

Thanks so much for visiting me today. Take care and God bless!

Haven't we all felt that way sometimes? Nice interpretation of the picture.

Good one. I can relate to those times when you know if you sit, you'll never get up.

Thanks for joining in Succinctly Yours. You had entered under the Weekend Writer's Retreat - and you are welcome to be a part of that also - but I added your link to Succinctly Yours which posts a link at 12:01 AM on Mondays (Central time). Hope to see more of your entries.

I've had those days, good thing that don't come to closely together.

I think I know how she feels.

Akelamalu March 28, 2011 at 5:49 AM

She needs to take time out and sit in that chair enjoying the view!

Love what you saw in the picture.

Mine's up too.

Good one...exactly how I felt during the past 3 days in which I worked 12 hour shifts. As I'm getting older it's taking longer to recover from those stretches!

Oh, I remember those days when I had 3 active and busy boys at home...I often felt like I never had even time to think, muse, ponder. And now I miss them.

That's just how I feel on laundry days. LOL Good one!

Something we can all relate to in our increasingly busy lives! But wouldn't it be sweet to just settle in and do nothing for a while...a girl can at least dream...:)

Good one Judy. I think we have all had days like that. I would be turning that chair around to see that gorgeous view.
