How's your love tank?

"Life begins, or should begin, at home. For me that means Sam and Grace, Dad and Mom, who have loved me for more than 60 years."
I was reading this book over a year ago because of an inner need within me which is not being met. My step daughter had the book and gave it to me as she thought it would help. I was really getting into the book and feeling that the author was onto something when my youngest son's girl friend was very unhappy with life and wanted some answers. I lent it to her and she never returned it. Now a coworker has loaned it to me and I will finish it this time, then return it.

The author, Gary Chapman, just spoke recently at one of our Marriage Matters workshops near here, but we were unable to attend.  He is a renown marriage counselor.

This post linked to A Few More Pages.  Grab the first line or two from the book you are currently reading and provide your first impression. The author dangled something very important to me before my eyes - a happy marriage. Marriage is hard work, and if he knows how to make it work, I am all ears.

Thanks for your visit. Stay healthy, take care and God bless.

I hope you find what you are looking for, and the book will provide some answers for you, Judy!

This is such an interesting book. Hubby and I picked up a copy after a marriage conference. It really teaches you things you didn't realize about yourself and your mate.

Thanks so much for participating in Book Beginnings!

That sounds like an interesting book, I hope it gives you the advice you are looking for Judy. Hubby and I talk about and share everything but a little extra advice never hurts.

Hope you and your family have a very Happy Thanksgiving.
