If I am out and have the time when sunset is drawing near
I will turn my car around, and you will find me here
There is something very special about the beauty in a place
That speaks to your heart and fills you with God's grace.

Beauty from God

Would we appreciate sunsets, sunrises, gorgeous blue skies and vivid flowers as much if not for the "gray" days? We know that rainy days are necessary for things to bloom and grow but there is something about the luminous pearl gray of the skies that I find appealing.
What unusual things do you find beautiful?
Your visits are so appreciated. This post linked to Thursday Two Questions. Thanks! Take care and God bless!
It's a challenge to photograph this lively cat, or perhaps it is just my photography skills that are challenged? But here he is, Tiger the cat. He is the cat the term "scaredy cat" was made for. My visitors don't even know he lives here because the moment he hears someone at the door besides hubby or I he goes into hiding. Yes, he knows.
When we try to pet him or pick him if we move too quickly he is off and running. He is such a funny skittish cat. :-)

I have to catch up with all of you.
My friend, Jeannie had her knee replaced yesterday and her family and friends have been spending time with her at the hospital. She is doing well, but we never doubted she would, as she is a real trouper. Her husband is teasing her about mowing the lawn when she gets home. :-) I have been working my eight to ten hour days, going to see Jeannie at the hospital when I get out of work, then racing home to fall asleep in front of my lap top. I am trying to stay awake to visit you and those who have commented on my articles at my other writing sites, but I cannot keep my eyes open. :-( Sorry. I will do better, soon.
Her window sill is lined with flowers and these roses were just a few of them. She is loved and wished well.
BTW, did you notice the beautiful header Ruthi created for me? I sent her the pics and she just went to town. I am eternally grateful! My HardworkinJudy blog header was created by a wonderful friend who prefers to be nameless. I truly appreciated her unselfish act too. I am blessed, truly blessed. I will have to devote some time to reading Icy, BC's article How to Make a Collage Header for your Blog. Maybe if I read it a dozen times I will be able to create one myself. :-) O-k, maybe a dozen plus one.
Thanks so much for your visit. Take care and God bless.
Winter is just leaving Michigan, although there is talk of more snow next week. But there was no snow inside the Meijer store last week.
Earlier in the year I spotted some Senetti blue bi-color and you can find them posted here. The Senetti series comes in 12 different vivid colors with flowers as wide as 2 1/2 inches wide. They love cool, wet weather and one plant can display as many as 200 blossoms at one time. To read more about their care, read here.

While some may not mind using the services of other blog sites and being limited to choose from their offered headers, I appreciate that Google allows us to create our own. Most of us bloggers have a fascination for photography and pretty or unique photos. If we select a photo from the one offered it just doesn't seem the same to me. Certain things draw your attention and cause you to want to stop and snap their picture. This is why we have photos that speak to us. I see some beautiful photos displayed in headers, in my blogging visits. Some are of loved ones, some of loved things, but they show something of the administrator's personality.
I have a passion for discovering alternative health methods. My journeys have brought me so much information about plants and foods that I want to share the information. I want to see everyone live longer and healthier. I want my header to reflect my interests. Icy, BC has written a wonderful article about creating your own header. She must have been thinking about people like me as I need step by step instructions to follow the first few times I do this myself. I've linked her article, if you are like me and need help. :-) The pictures are some of the ones I am toying with and trying to decide upon.
I am glad you are all individuals. I enjoy this smorgasboard of ideas and embrace the unique differences you each offer. My questions are:
Does a blog header speak to you?
What does it say?

"While you scream at your woman, there's a man wishing he could whisper in her ear.
While you humiliate, offend and insult her, there's a man flirting with her and reminding her how beautiful she is.
While you hurt her, there's a man wishing he could take her pain away. While you make her cry, there's a man stealing smiles from her. Post this on your wall if you are against domestic violence and mental abuse". ♥
I borrowed this quote from a friend's FB and wanted to share it. If you have ever been the victim of domestic abuse you know how it can leave you feeling. Take time to heal and nurture yourself. If only we could all learn to love like this little puppy. The world would be so much happier. Everyone deserves to love and be loved...
My daughter's dog had a litter and this is the last chihuahua pup for sale. She (the pup) was showering us all with kisses and entertaining us with tag wails. With over two dozen pictures, I got very few, as she was just a flurry of motion! At one point my daughter's SO bribed her with food to get her to sit still and this worked only for a moment. :-)

While writing is a huge passion for me, research is too so you may find me occasionally writing about a product, service, or item I have knowledge of. I will not intentionally mislead as your and my health is a priority to me. At times I am financially compensated for information that I provide on my blogs.
