Where's my home now?

A desert island

Their own little island; it was quite a transition from city life, but even more so since the flood.

Is this your home? Did you have a flood?

Colette, I am so sorry to scare you. It is a writing practice. I went back to the post and explained it better so I would not scare anyone else. I don't live near the ocean and our home is on dry land, very dry land - we could use some rain. :-)

Hi Judy, nice one. :) Glad you are writing here.

Seems like a good place for the country kid to wash his/her feet! XD

I think I've now changed my mind about wanting my own island!

It's not a bad thing to scare your readers - it means you've done some really good writing. I liked it.

Yikes! That's quite a flood. Definitely a transition time in their lives.

Living in the Philippines where the capital city is flooding due to monsoon torrents right this moment, this hits pretty close to home. Good post, though. :)
