Reflected Glory

Setting sun on the lake

Setting sun on the lake

In a matter of minutes the sun had faded from view and although I could see the sky line reflected in the lake, the camera sadly disappointed me. The sight was breathtaking. I turned up the ISO setting, but still this was the best I could get. I am so happy to have my little point and shoot, but sometimes wish I could afford a better camera. It makes me think of our wonderful creator. He made this magnificent earth and sky. I try to capture the picture and am just capturing a reflection. When God reflects His glory through me, how true is the image? Is He sadly disappointed?

This post linked to weekend reflection. Have a wonderful and safe Labor day weekend! Take care, God bless and stay healthy!!

I love your reflective thoughts Judy, and I believe God is not disappointed at all in you reflecting His glory, I always admire how you always give it back to Him.

An interesting thought about God's reflection of His image in us. I'm sure He's not disappointed, He just keeps on working at getting it better next time.

The sun does go down fast, specially as it meets the horizon. Nice shots though. MB
