Brilliant leaves are falling
Leaving trees bare
Just when it appears that
Life is not there
Buds and berries on trees
The buds and berries promise
New growth in the spring
Just like hope...
Nature by God
poem by Judy
I love spring and fall best, but one drawback of fall is that it precedes cold winter weather and suddenly the earth seems to hibernate. Skies seem to be gray more often than not, trees bare, flowers fade and petals fall. We tend to soak up all the color we can before we are plunged into a monochrome colored world. I have been in awe of some of the fall colored leaves and busily taking photos and could not help but notice that many of the trees are already being prepared for their beautiful spring blossoms. God does not rest. He is busily preparing the earth for the next season!!
Here is a quote from Lorna Luft: "I have spent much of my adult life flinching with pain as I tried to pull out the threads that bound the shadows of my past to me. "
Cannot we escape those if we stop and realize that our father has ways to prepare the earth for the next season and can surely prepare and protect us from life's turmoils?
