Garlic
Goodness knows, God's goodness grows... and grows
Great, genuine germ fighters; right under our nose...
goodness from God poem from Judy
Garlic contains anti-aging properties and is used to aid in preventing cancer, colds, flu, heart disease and stroke! As if that wasn't enough garlic is used to treat allergies, altitude sickness, angina, arthritis, athlete's foot, breastfeeding problems, bronchitis, burns, cardiac arrhythmia, diabetes, earaches, fungal infections, headaches, herpes virus, HIV infections, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, insect bites and stings, intermittent claudication, Lyme disease, pneumonia, Raynaud's disease, sinusitis, sore throat, sties, tonsillitis, tuberculosis, ulcers, vaginitis, viral infections, worms, wounds and yeast infections. Why don't we just ask what doesn't garlic treat? I remember reading that garlic placed in a testing bowl with 100 different bacteria killed all but one.
Ginger is another wonder drug. I am so impressed with ginger that I have researched it in depth and written on it also. If you click on the link in my side panel you will find an impressive list of ginger's healing properties.
Gingko biloba has a wide range of uses such as fighting age related issues, altitude sickness, stroke, allergies, Alzheimer's, asthma, cardiac arrhythmia, depression, erectile dysfunction, hangover, headaches, intermittent claudication, macular degeneration, Parkinson's, Raynaud's, sinusitis, sores, tinnitus, varicose veins and vertigo.
Goldenrod is also linked in my side panel; known to assist in bladder infections, gallstones, kidney stones and yeast infections.
Goldenseal - used as an antiseptic, and for treating athlete's foot, bladder infections, canker sores, chronic fatigue, colds and flu, earaches, fungal infections, intestinal parasites, pneumonia, sinusitis, sties, tinnitus, vaginitis, viral infections, wounds and yeast infections.
Thanks goes to James A. Duke, PhD author of The Green Pharmacy for much of this information.

garlic and ginger, two of what I use most of the time whenever in the kitchen :) I love ginger juice too, and love that quote you started with on "God's goodness grows". thanks for sharing these very valuable information, Judy.

I need to go to the market! I am out of most everything. I just hate the drive. Thanks for this post. I keep meaning to come back and read all your fantastic discoveries...but fail to. I will have to come up with a system.
