Making Light of English

I have heard many times that English is the most difficult language to learn. I find it fascinating, and the above poem, sent to me by my son is just the icing on the cake. It makes writing both challenging and fulfilling as getting it right keeps us on our toes.

I've heard that too , but I think every language have their challenges.

This is very interesting though.

That is really interesting!
For me, it's just a matter of memorizing what I need to memorized. If I dwell too much on the problems, I will confuse myself without return :)

oh, this is so funny, I almost forgot the contradictions because I think my mind has been brainwashed that the plural of pan is not pen despite the plural of man is men :) and more :)

It is fun to make them rhyme.
I tried to learn Cantonese before entering college.
The confusing thing is the word spell the same but have different meaning if you speak in a different pitch or tone.
